An exciting preview of the eclectic sounds of ‘Stadium Arcadium’, the single continues the story of Dani California that was established on the band’s prior albums ‘By The Way’ and ‘Californication’. As with the rest of the double-album set, ‘Dani California’ was produced by Rick Rubin (Beastie Boys, System Of A Down) in the same house in the Hollywood Hills that the band recorded 1991’s landmark album ‘BloodSugarSexMagik’.

  • Dani is a welcome Summertime single. The guitar work at the end is lifted from Hendrix’s Purple Haze - and i assumed it was a deliberate homage. I really dont see that much similarity with the Petty’s mary jane.
