Danish quintet, Efterklang (or 'reverberation' in Danish), are currently riding high on a wave of critical acclaim since their second LP ‘Parades’ was released last October. In a similar vein to Efterklang’s Scandinavian compatriots, Sigur Rós, their ambient sound is loaded with invention and endeavours to serve up relentless waves of euphoria. However, unlike Sigur Rós, the Danish post-rockers have not had the trusty support of the BBC’s Blue Planet to propel them into the mainstream. Atmospheric and adventurous, this sumptuous electronic track will make even the most butch of men want to run a nice, warm, bubble bath.
Released 07/04/08 on The Leaf Label.
