Dirty Cloth have stepped up in an attempt to either respond to or kick out against a halcyon fuelled musical zeitgeist in the intoxicating ‘2SF’. Tinged with a sense of cult morbidity that instantly invites a misguided fascination, synths and strings are laced with an overwhelming and shoulder crushing darkness, seemingly played out in the shadows a long forgotten and seldom visited room. In equal parts idle and intriguing, it’s a song that smacks of a band looking to find a firm footing and should they succeed one that could achieve great things.
Released 24/03/08 on Through The Wire Records.
