Kate Walsh - 'Don't Break My Heart'

Kate Walsh is another one of those female teenage/ twenty something's, classed by many as an inspiring singer/ songwriter, who studied hard, was classically trained, and you guessed it, has a style that draws direct comparisons to Joni Mitchell. A woman, who for PR consultants, seems to be the only innovative female folk artist they can muster for impressive association.

Kate Walsh's 'Don't Break My Heart', by no means on par with 'Help Me' which resulted in Mitchell winning a Grammy, does posses a certain quality in its composition. A track drenched in a depressed assessment of a relationship between two people, the resulting emotive ballad serves as a counterpoint to exuberant expressions of anguish and heartache. A track Walsh's vast array of online followers have applauded, it's the kind of thing Amy MacDonald and Kathryn Williams fans will adore.
