This latest single from Vincent Vincent And The Villains is a 50s Rock n’ Roll style bop-a-long tune with rougher vocals not unlike The Undertones. ‘Pretty Little Girl’ is one of those songs that ripples with great riffs that put a smile on your face and a beat that keeps the light touch of this unrequited love song firmly on the dance floor. This really is one of those songs that jumps the generational gaps - you will love it and your parents will love it but that does by no means make it un-cool. Stick it on in any indie club and you’ll be guaranteed to have people up and dancing and singing along to the ‘oh oh’s and the hook laden chorus.
Released 25/02/08 on EMI.
