Catchy titles are obviously the last thing on the mind of Watford’s finest hardcore outfit, Gallows. We’re treated to two versions of this track – the clean or the dirty edits. It’s a testament to the power of Frank Carter’s vocals that it’s almost impossible to tell the difference between the two. Full of indecipherable, anger fuelled yells, it’s only really noticeable at the hook line of “I never wanna fucking see you again” - absent, as you’d expect, in the clean edit. Musically, it’s heavy, energetic and pumped full of venom, really capturing the essence of their chaotic live show - if hardcore is your thing, ‘Just Because…’ ticks all the right boxes.
Released 25/02/08 on Warner Brothers.
