The recording of The Duke Spirit's second album saw an impressive supporting crowd in renowned Queens Of The Stone Age producer Chris Goss and respected engineer Tom Elmhurst who has worked with an array of female vocal talent in his years including Amy Winehouse, Gwen Stefani and Roisin Murphy. One new addition to that tally of feisty female vocalists is Liela Moss, The Duke Spirit singer who, with new single 'The Step & The Walk', seems to mix the 60's Brit-pop suspense of Candie Payne some how with the melodic punk/ surf rock of Pixies singer/ songwriter Kim Deal. A bluesy rock anthem with a dose of 60's flare, crunchy guitars, a spine tingling bass line and a chorus swaggering with more self confidence than a cocky Liam Gallagher, it's no surprise the band have received such significant praise.
