More The Kills

Kills band members Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince started life mailing work tapes across the Atlantic. Choosing to eventually bridge the gap by uniting in our fair countries capital, the pair started putting pen to paper on a song writing partnership aimed at keeping things minimalist. With the aid of a lone drum machine in the early days this partnership has flourished yielding two albums with a third on the way.
'U.R.A. Fever', taken from the duos next helping of attitude laden, gritty garage punk-rock, is a slow paced, dark affair brimming with pent up tension. Gently coasting along, thanks to the uniting power of Hince's emotive guitar riffs and numerous industrial, electronically generated drum sequences, band influences like LCD Sound System and Royal Trux are clear to see.
Released 07/01/08 on Domino.
