Amy Winehouse - 'Love Is A Losing Game'

“Love is a losing game, One I wish we never played / Oh what a mess we made, and now the final frame / Love is a losing game.” Like so many of the songs from Amy Winehouse’s critically acclaimed (and right so) second album, ‘Back To Black,’ new single, ’Love Is A Losing Game,’ continues her seemingly intuitive ability to pre-empt  her own life story. One of the album’s most sombre and short moments, ‘Love Is A Losing Game,’ comes at a time when Winehouse’s personal life has become more topical than her recording career. Put that to one side, however, and the singles sereneness is a wonderful reminder of all the charm and haunting vitality that Winehouse should be known for. If only she could start to win the biggest game of all: life.

  • I LOVE AMY WINEHOUSE FOR HER UNQUIE INDIVIUALITY I LOVE HER HAIR AND VOICE WHO GIVES A SHIT IF SHE HAS PERSONAL PROBLEMS NONE THE LESS THATS WHAT MAKES HER A ROCK STAR AND ITS NO ONES BUSSINESS EVERYONES HAS THEM SHES AWESOME EITHER WAY THAT WHAT MAKES UP HER PERSONALITY ROCK!!

  • What I find fasinating, is how one human can take their personal experiences, convey it in music, writing or art and in its simplest form it speaks into what so many of us have been or is going through! I love this song and applaud Amy on this one. Now lets see if some how we all can move from mastering the art of conveying messages and strat mastering both the games of LOVE & LIFE
