Fans of the rapid fire, high octane emissions issued with significant gusto from Foals and their track 'Mathletics' earlier in the year will find themselves clambering for the plastic with the release of 'Fear Of Assault,' Damn Shames debut single. Resurrected by ex-Clor member Luke Smith, producer to Shitdisco and FrYars, from a mountain of substandard demos, the band have developed through an age of experimentation. The track plays like a shed full of teenagers pumped up to high heaven on WKD and poppers. A winning combination, 'Fear Of Assault' is three and a half minutes of chaos riddled with pulsing beats and steely guitars that will leave you buzzing for days.
