It’s a sad day for Punk, Rock and Ska combo lovers the UK over, but after a sparkling ten years together, Capdown have had enough and decided to go their own separate ways to pursue lives and experiences outside of the band. But they’ve got one last trick up their sleeves with the release of ‘No Matter What’ the third single to be taken from February’s ‘Wind Up Toys’. Saturated with Ska that’s immediately intuitive and natural in its flow, their final offering is less a platform for political dissent than a chance to release a flurry of laid back bass lines and polished guitar riffs. Either way, it’s a comfortable sound and a fitting farewell for Milton Keynes’ finest.
Released 29/10/07 on Fierce Panda Records.
