We Start Fires - 'Let's Get Our Hands Dirty'

This reviewer recently tried to play We Start Fires' 'Let's Get Our Hands Dirty,' at an indier-than-thou club night and accidentally cued up the B-side, the remix by electro-campsters Manhattan Clique. The results were better than expected. Nobody really went off their ever-loving tits, but people started to listen as the sleazy disco beat bounced around the room. Even so, the original track is better, a filthy synth-fuelled rocker over which Becky Stefani sounds like Shirley Manson on GHB. Dirty disco or sexy indie rock? It's all here; take your pick.
