Things always have a way of coming back around. With most people trying to impersonate Gary Numan it’s left to The New Pronographers to do a scarily good rendering of The Pixies. With to and fro of vocals, 60’s vibe-y minimalist guitar lines and vast desert imagery-inducing castanets, one would be forgiven for thinking that with 'Myriad Harbours' we were back in the studio with Frank Black and the crew. Yet if you can only imitate with your art, there’s few better bands to be able to imitate. With the help of The New Pornographers, the sound of mid-town America will rise again!
Released 01/10/07 on Matador Records.
