Mixing comedy with carelessness is a superb combination. Like slapstick humour, but in musical form, The Pyramids are here to make your teeth grind and your eyes water. The comedy value comes in the title, ‘Hunch Your Body, Love Somebody.’ With out-of-control, yet brilliantly consistent drumming supporting the instrumentation that gives the song an edge. Chanted vocals sound perfectly punk too. There is a niche though, the source of it being the repetition and the annoyance that will trigger after the 10th listen. Or, you really wouldn’t be blamed for disliking it from the off. It takes an acquired taste to enjoy this to the full. But those with the all important taste won’t be complaining one bit.
