There’s something a bit odd about this new single from Passenger (possibly the most overly subscribed band name on Earth). Musically, it’s a jolly, upbeat number with more jangle than a janitor’s key chain, a definite step up from droll Paul Simon aping main songwriter Mike Rosenberg used to conjure when playing under his own guise, whilst the lyric sheet reads more like a page from Mark Corrigan’s best laid plans to impress the fairer sex. “With my night-vision binoculars, I creep quietly as a mouse” …well, good luck with that. A nice song though- if kinda creepy.
