Ambient dance collective, Honeyroot, aka Glenn Gregory (former Heaven 17 front-man) and Keith Lowndes have fused all the subtleties of Ska and Electronica to create four minutes of no nonsense, uncomplicated listening pleasure, in the form of ‘Where I Belong’. Intuitively simplistic, progressive and engaging enough to remain interesting, the duo have wrapped their reassuringly familiar sound around the floating vocals of Nashville country star Kim Richey. Fresh and soothing, ‘Where I Belong’ is dripping in honey-coated bliss and is the perfect end to a summer that never quite happened.
