It could be too easy to dismiss Ghosts as another bed wetting indie-rock band, but in what is now a highly saturated field (read Keane, Coldplay... ad nauseum). Thankfully, if this single is anything to go by, Ghosts look like they could hold their own. ‘Ghost’ with its sunny melody (reminiscent of The Thrills) but less than summery imagery in the lyrics, have instant appeal. It ain’t revolutionary, hardly cutting edge, but who cares? A big success at a few festivals this year, Ghosts are a band to watch closely and given time, just could release a classic.
