Chromeo - 'Tenderoni'

What a refreshing change Chromeo are, forget your lad rock guitars and rave sirens 2007 is the year of the outrageous funky pop tune, or so Chromeo will hope. If ‘Tenderoni’ got any funkier they’d need to recruit Bootsy Collins to slap out the basslines and it’s a winning formula for creating an above average pop track. Dave 1’s voice is a perfect accompaniment for the synths and Hot Chip percussion which invigorate the track. Chromeo will be happy in the knowledge that ‘Tenderoni’ is fuelling dancefloors and bouncing those indie upstarts out of the charts.
