More The Fratellis

More indie pub rock from the anthemic Scottish three-piece? Certainly. Any good? Well, if you like catchy, strummy and quite possibly raunchy guitar pop you’ll almost certainly enjoy Ole Black ‘n’ Blue Eyes. However, the new single is by no means as identifiable as previously released and impressively well received tracks like ;Chelsea Dagger', although it does retain the boyish charm and feel good factor of acoustic guitar centred rock. Clever sounding lyrical constructions are possibly the best part of this track, although the words themselves won’t require a huge amount of brain power to deconstruct.
