Ex-Sugababe Siobhan Donaghy continues her bid for pop relevancy with ‘So You Say’ (the second single off of her upcoming album ‘Ghosts’), a bland, by-the-numbers break-up tune that plays like some abandoned Imogen Heap/Natasha Bedingfield collaboration. From its Faux Frou instrumentation— electronic whoops and sighs that sound far more intriguing than Donaghy’s just above-average vocals— to its hackneyed lyrics about some on-again-off-again affair, this isn’t anything you haven’t heard before, and it’s not anything you’ll really want to hear again.
