It isn’t too often a song truly offends you. Aqualung's latest effort didn’t have enough about it to offend me but this, this is offensive. Not because it’s in any way homophobic, it isn’t. This is a crushingly depressing slice of sub-Busted pop-punk from folks who had previously been throwing some jaunty guitar pop gems around. I can sit here secure in my tastes and tell you that I really enjoyed ‘Girl All The Bad Guys Want’ and ‘Punk Rock 101’. This though, an attempt to skewer ‘serious’ music by imploring all to be happy (‘gay’), is just bad. No more poetic words for it, just bad.
