The French dance act who alarmingly connect Norwegian death metal, club anthems and Paul Epworth stand up and spit in your eye with their interpretation of Bo Dudley’s ‘I’m A Man’. The word anthem is bandied about in  fever pitch market  branding, but Bo Diddley’s 1955 track surely lives up to the name. Bo Diddley has been covered by the likes of Jesus and the Mary Chain, but this takes it to a darker, industrial gothic level with Rebotini  sounding like Nick Cave’s perverted younger brother and bastardising the classic Diddley riff it’s a heady mix. An over blown and unconvincing sense of menace which should appeal to Rocky Horror fans. Interesting and amusing stuff. Some of the remixes are truly dreadful though.
