The Rumble Strips are the band tipped to do a ‘Fratellis’ and become the beer lairy indie crossover band for the 2007. They release this jaunty brass flavoured number for the summer and it's destined to be roared back at them in many fields over the festival season. ‘Motorcycle’ crashes to life with a clash of symbols followed by a drum roll and cruises rambunctiously along not unlike a motorcycle. Lead Singer Charlie Waller delivers a rousing chorus and verse, wishing for a motorcycle, with real gusto. Before delivering an almost perfect soaring final note. The song finishes with a flourish of trumpets; symbols and guitars symbolic of their unique pop sound. A perfect appetiser for the upcoming release of their album, which will be waited for with baited breath.
Released 04/06/07 on Fallout/Island Records
