The Little Ones stake their claim for the soundtrack of the summer with two absolutely blinding tracks, one a guitar driven slice of hand clapping pop heaven and the other a beat driven foot stomper. Hearing ‘Lovers Who Uncover’ is liable to result in a mass outbreak of smiling and break dancing across the UK and Ireland this summer, it’s simply a joyous track. Mixed by the ubiquitous James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco) it will brighten up any summers’ day. B-side ‘There’s A Pot A Brewin’, powered by an infectious almost samba beat, is a beauty as well. Think Hot Chip’s finest moments with a smidgen of guitars. The Little Ones have some very big ideas and they’re going to take over your summer.
