A song about a boy whose chief characteristic is that he works in an office shouldn’t really be that exciting, but given that a) the song could in fact be about anything but workplace fantasies (it’s sung in incomprehensible Brazilian gay slang) and b) the track is the kind of careless old school fun that The Go! Team might have made if they’d holidayed in Rio with Run DMC, it all works rather well. Bonde Do Role’s latest offering lends itself rather well to remix treatment too, with fellow Brazilians CSS’s blissful disco treatment and Brodinski’s clattering electro house rework as likely to be hammered as the original. Never has a day at the office been so fulfilling.
