Opening with a gentle folk certainty that blossoms until the line “It used to make me sad, now it makes me happy, who wants to be the last of anything?”, the whole blurry happiness of the Soft Hearted Scientists paired with the lyrics could mean just as many people who love it, there will be others who find it trite and cuddly. Lyrically speaking, you are left thinking is it a childlike grace or is it just another sensitive man with a grasp of English? Whatever it is, it gets inside your head and makes you sing along.
