Following up the radio-raping success of 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing' was never going to be easy, and 'Kiss You Off' sounds like a barrel-scraping fourth single rather than the return to form needed - especially after their previous two singles limped into the charts without reviving the fortunes of their parent album Ta-Dah. Ana Matronic takes lead vocal duties, leaving Jake Shears' falsetto histrionics thankfully buried in the mix, but the track as a whole sounds limp and insipid. Scissor Sisters at the top of their game are an indisputably great pop act, but this just sounds tired. Time to move on to album three?
