This first ever single from Von Sudenfed should be hung in a swanky art gallery as a piece of modern art - especially the remixes which sound like Andy Warhol has been inflicting creative mindsets on them. Barring available space in Tate Modern, it lends itself to some millennium style of techno.
Officially they are a trio made up of Andi Thomas and Jan St Werner from Mouse on Mars and The Fall singer, Mark E Smith who are experimenting with music outside, especially in the case of Mark E Smith, their usual comfort space, and that is always a good thing. Collectively it’s hard to guess what Von Sudenfed are capable of; perhaps the debut album ‘Tromatic Reflexxions’, released late May will give more indication. Expect a futuristic Blade Runner soundscape with Run Lola Run stuttering techno overtones.
