It’s just a snap shot; a picture in a gallery. One viewing of one piece of work will not tell you the whole majestic story of the whole museum. If it’s good though, it may entice you to look around. Feist is a soundscape turning out rich, melodic, strange, quirky, exuberant and at times mesmerising songs of individuality and romance. Her soft and hypnotic vocals complement the hard hitting bass and accompanying piano riff like a glove giving the overall effect of a rainstorm on a balmy hot summers’ day. It’s by no means the complete picture, Feist is far more complex than one song can offer but it should get you hooked on this exceptional talent.
