For anyone out there who still hasn't fallen for Arcade Fire, this might be the tipping point. 'Intervention' - arguably the standout track from recent album Neon Bible - is a cracker of a song. Starting off with a church organ and weaving a full choir into the background, it is a powerful sample of what a band who aren't afraid to experiment with different instruments can do. This is the kind of massive song which displays perfectly Arcade Fire's ambition and talent, and by rights it should win over a few more fans.
