Client – ‘Drive’ (Loser Friendly) Released 16/04/07

Things we know about Client: one member goes out with Oasis impresario Alan McGee and another was a contestant on Britain’s Next Top Model. Should we hold this against them? Possibly, but we won’t as Client supply a tidy line of electronic pop for the masses. If you have heard of Ladytron, however, then really Client are redundant - ‘Drive’ could not sound more like something from Witching Hour if it tried. However it is not terrible - silky and neat the track draws straight lines as it moves and though not particularly exciting it does show potential. Tear up the blue print ladies and just be yourselves- then your music could be special.
