Arctic Monkeys friends and tour support act The Little Flames are on their way to the top. It’s obvious once you hear this single why the quintet from Liverpool have been getting attention; the song starts out with gritty, raw guitar, then vocalist Eva Petersen opens her mouth, changing the direction of the song but still keeping it rock ‘n’ roll. Her voice is beautiful and almost raspy, adding a rough edge to her soft melodies. With the other band mates adding great backing vocals to the chorus, the song is turned into brilliance.
