There's something very alluring about Good Shoes. Despite their seemingly ordinary indie vocals and standard chords there’s something about 'Never Meant to Hurt You' that endears you more towards them with every listen. On the flip side, we also get 'Valley Boy' which detects a hint of Larrikin Love through its charmed vocals and basic melodies along with the similarly lovely 'It’s Impossible'. Strangely, upon the first listen, the whole package is pleasant enough but a tad forgettable, yet by the second you find yourself humming the beguiling tune, while trying to resist dancing in the middle of the street.
