Yes Boss - ‘See It Through’ (Dance To The Radio) Released 29/01/07

Whiskas of iForward Russia! Fame has given us so much in a short time. His own band is amazing,but his label has also graced us with the likes of Pigeon Detectives and many more of Leeds rising stars. He was due a fall soon enough but Yes Boss are less of a stumble and more of a trip over in front of the girl you fancy. Some might say that the lyrics to ‘See It through’ are hilarious but we can’t help but feel that “Eat my dick with chutney” and “I’m a whole lot younger than Chuck D” are juvenile and intellectually vacuous. The track's beat is pretty damn good and rapper Noah's rhymes are tight but it’s all a bit reminiscent of internet sensation MC Devvo (Google it, you won’t regret it).  Let’s pray that the next time Whiskas hears the words “Yes Boss” it’s when he says to Noah and Gavron “You will never release a second of your tripe upon the publics ears again!”
