Dartz! - 'Once, Twice, Again' (Xtra Mile) Released 22/01/07

The last Dartz! single ‘St Petersburg’ was a thrilling fast paced indie pop-athon and, not afraid to mix it up, they extend the length and reduce the pace for their new single ‘Once, Twice, Again’.  That isn’t to say this isn’t quick, it’s just not breakneck speed.  The track is a well constructed pop single with a Futurehead’s charm to it.  It is as instantaneous as ‘St Petersburg’ but with more depth and William Anderson’s vocals coming to the fore.  The mainstream radar is still avoiding them somewhat but they will become impossible to ignore if they maintain this string of superb singles.  So in Dartz words “lets save our sanity” and finally get them on the indie map because once they're there they won't be easy to budge.
