Little Man Tate - 'Sexy In Latin' (V2) Released 22/01/07

A bouncy, thoroughly workmanlike indie shuffle, it’s as hard to actively dislike ‘Sexy in Latin’ as it is to discern within it anything approaching flair, originality or style.  A neatly symmetrical tale of boy meets girl, girl goes off to Uni and meets other boy before coming back and shagging original boy silly (that old, old story), the fairly predictable chord changes might easily stir Kooks fans and bring Little Man Tate some success.  But while their modest whistleability cannot be denied, is the world really waiting for the new Shed Seven?
