If, generally, you like melodic, heavily-produced straightforward American emo then you’ll probably love ‘Bury Your Head’, the debut single from Californian band Saosin. If not then look away NOW. While a number of US bands have been gracing the charts recently with unique offerings featuring plucked strings and marching bands, Saosin are most definitely not one of them. There is nothing here you haven’t heard before and will probably hear a thousand times more; inoffensive, unimaginative emo-by-numbers by yet another group of twenty-somethings still whining like angst teens.
