More Lostprophets

Gigwise gets through a couple of lines of ‘Town Called Hypocrisy,’ before realising this is actually Lostprophets' new single ‘Can’t Catch Tomorrow.’ Woops, that shouldn’t happen should it? This mistake raises two questions. Firstly, rather worryingly, how does this reviewer know the words, and secondly, why are all Lostprophets singles starting to share the same eerie similarities? Like its predecessor, ‘Can’t Catch Tomorrow,’ is another joyous “Do, Do, Do, Der,” take on metal which does little but show Lostprohets seem to have successfully developed a way of separating Siamese twins. After the power chords overdose is complete, and the ‘knees-up’ in the mosh pit over, it’s the (autobiographical sounding) lyrics, “The time’s running out in this life,” that seem all too relevant here.
