Another healthy dose of soulful breakbeat from the definite winners of the “I loved this record but now the radio’ve played the life out of it and I’m totally annoyed” award 2006, Gnarls Barkley. This song doesn’t have the pace of ‘Gone Daddy Gone’ or the brooding baseline of the aforementioned ‘Crazy’ but is still a great soul song. As a single it’s a shame because Gnarls peaked a bit early and none of their singles have had the same impact as their debut. That doesn’t stop this being a great track and especially so within the context of the album ‘St Elsewhere’, Gigwise suggests you step away from the singles, stop being tight and buy the album.
