Combining stripped down acoustic guitars with biting brutal lyrics ‘No More Eatin’’ is typical Plan B material. Telling tales of drug running and a violent childhood in London, it turns more and more like Rage Against  The Machine as it builds to its explosive conclusion.‘Broke’ is done in a more traditional hip-hop style with scratching and rolling beats sounding more desperate and sad than bitter and twisted It illustrates the frustrations of inner city poverty in the welfare state. Plan B (real name Ben Drew) has his finger on the pulse of London, adding his own brand of inventiveness. ‘My Life’ fits in nicely with the new breed of rappers like Dizzee Rascal, channelling their anger about modern times into a force to be reckoned with for their American opponents.
