Another in a long line of Keane / Snowpatrol / Coldplay sound-alikes, Vega4 are unfortunately every A&R mans wet dream. A band guaranteed to be bought by numerous clueless blokes for their mum on mothers day that will always be at the top of the W H Smith CD chart. Traffic Jam very much sounds like Snowpatrol, with a bash-bash-bash drumbeat and a vocal that so closely resembles Gary Lightbody you could be forgiven for thinking that this was actually their newest ‘hit’. Overall, they’re really not bad, the production is good and it sounds very accomplished, but really, do we need another band like this?
