With more balls than you would expect for a 4 piece, exclusively female band The Hedrons' second single ‘I Need You’ is quite the rowdy rock number. Singer/lead guitarist Tippi provides a pant-wetting mix of feminine allure and growly indie vocals that does well at distracting from the slightly less interesting music underneath. Don’t misunderstand, it’s not boring, it just lacks that certain oomph to make it a truly great tune. But The Hedrons have got the potential to fulfil that dream and more. Keep an eye on these girls and they’re sure not to disappoint in the future.
