I suppose we can just about forgive Craig Nicholls for being a complete penis now that we know there was a good, doctor-certified reason for it, that being he has Asperger’s Syndrome. Two years on and the man does appeared to have mellowed somewhat. Who’d have thought that ‘Don’t Listen to the Radio’ is actually a fairly catchy little tune? Nicholls’s voice has far less of the throaty fingernails-on-the-blackboard effect it once did; although whether or not that was his decision or a producer’s is not yet clear. It also has a very valuable message in the title, at least where certain fat, foghorn-gobbed DJs are concerned.
