Gomez are back (again) with the second single from ‘How We Operate’ and it’s a stripped down, acoustic Gomez for all to enjoy. ‘See The World’ is a simple offering that is lead by a wandering guitar that sends you away from the hassles of the city and straight to the calm of the country, where you’re foot can tap effortlessly to the beat provided. Think straw hats and harvest time as Otwell rings out the words, “See the world, find an old fashioned girl.” It may be nearly nine years since the glory days of Bring It On, but this is a mature sounding Gomez, and is definitely nothing to complain about.
