With her second album ‘Trust Me’, nymph-like Berlin lass Trost is a purveyor of eclectic and sexy as **** music and ‘In Diesen Raum’ is one of its highlights. Sung in her native tongue (Trost also flits between three languages), it’s a softly spoken, retrogressive funky number that’s simplistic yet all the more striking because of it. Differing from many of her fellow countrymen, Trost manages to make the german tongue sound sultry, enticing and, well, sexy. But its with the DJ Hell remix that the package truly excels – it’s a masterclass in ominous, uncompromising techno imbued with all the emotion of the original.
