First single taken from their upcoming third album - 'Writer's Block', ‘Young Folks’ is an unashamedly fun throwback to the 60’s era of mod fashion and psychedelic freedom. ‘Young Folks’ is a brilliant catchy tune that has a quirkiness about it that the likes of Beck has only been able to tap into. With a whistling intro that is going to be the dance floor hit of the year, backed up against Victoria Bergsman’s (once of the Concretes) enigmatic vocals whilst Peter Bjorn and John’s musical escapades layer the background with pure ambient gold. One of the cutest tracks to be released since the Monkee’s ‘Sleepy Jean’ it won’t be long before ‘Young Folks’ will be adopted by indie fans faster than Furbies were back in the 90’s. The Scandanavian trio have a created a track that is impossible not to sing along to, no matter how cool you think you are, the whistle will get you. Crack out the cravats and cardigans people.
