For well over a decade The Flaming Lips were the rank outsiders, the great band teetering on the edge that not many took notice of. However, since the release of 'The Soft Bulletin' six years back, Wayne Coyne and co. have been forever climbing to new heights - now topped off by their latest gem of a pop song 'The W.A.N.D'. And they are in radiant form with this a psychedelic, clap along, unpredictable, guitar hook driven monster with a typically sparkly vocal. The Lips truly rock and they know it “we’ve got the power now”. We couldn't have put it better ourselves.
