Soho Dolls - ‘Stripper’ (Filthy Pretty) Released 19/06/06

If the Soho Dolls were in fact reincarnated into the body of an erotic dancer they’d no doubt be found performing for the masses in the sleaziest of sleaze pits wearing nothing but fishnets and parading seductively around in ridiculously high heels…well that’s what Gigwise dreamt about last night after listening to ‘Stripper’ for the first time but we won’t go into it in anymore depth (Children read this you know!). In essence the track struts for three minutes around raw, dirty riffs and the kind of temptress of the night style synthesizers that Alison Goldfrapp would be proud of. Singer Maya seduces in the verses before ripping off our clothes for choruses leaving us with scratches on the back, lipstick on the collar and a dirty smirk on our face. No holds barred sexuality and we like it!
