In keeping with the unwritten rule that every greatest hits album requires one or two sub-standard but new tracks, Norman Cook, he of celebrity wife, mass beach gatherings and rotten shirts has delivered an absolute peach. It would be easy to make references to this tracks lacklustre and general plodding nature and it's purely coincidental title: but honestly it's not that comfortable at all. Close your eyes and you can almost hear Terry Wogan introduce 'That Old Pair Of Jeans' as this years Eurovision entry. It has annoying la la la's and gospel backing singers perfectly suited to the obligatory gang of onstage kids or church choir to flesh out your chances of getting more than nil point from Norway. There are only two saving graces: a fantastic re-work of played-to-death Praise You by Mike D and Ad Rock of Beastie Boys fame and a bumping breakbeat re-work of Fatboy's old skool anthem Every Body Needs A 303. Neither of which are on the album.
