After unashamedly triggering the return of the polka-dot to the high street, The Pipettes are back delivering their trademark carefree dose of pop nostalgia that hasn't been seen since Diana Ross stepped out with The Supremes. Chirpy and preppy, 'Pull Shapes' is an all hand clapping, all smiling sugar coated slice of light heartedness that literally transports you back in time when everything seemed so much simpler and innocent; it really is like walking onto the set of 'Happy Days'. Seriousness is the key here though in as much as any shred of it should be ceremoniously dumped at the door. In short, forget any notion of 'Pull Shapes' changing your life, instead take it purely on face value and enjoy it for what it is - a 50s pop fuelled dose of frolicking fun straight from the jukebox at Arnold's.
